How we make communication easier

  • Book by language. Tell us “Mandarin” or “Cantonese” when you call so we can book the right dentist.
  • Time for questions. Your dentist will explain what they find, the options available – including the option to wait or do nothing – and the risks of each.
  • Costs before treatment. You will be told the expected fees before treatment begins, and you can check your health fund rebate using the item numbers we give you.
  • Family welcome. Parents, grandparents and other support people are welcome to join the appointment.

Dental care for every generation

Many families who visit us book several generations at once. We provide:

Not every dentist provides every treatment. When you book, we will match you with a Chinese-speaking dentist who provides the care you need, or explain if a referral is recommended.

Visiting from overseas or new to Australia?

If you are visiting family or have recently arrived, you can still book a dental appointment with us. Medicare generally does not cover adult dental care at private clinics, so fees are paid at the time of your visit unless you have private health insurance with extras cover. If you have travel insurance, check with your insurer whether emergency dental treatment is included. Bringing any previous X-rays or dental records – even if they are in Chinese – can help your dentist understand your history.
